At the end of September, Mr. Petru Schipor attended BestInvest Romania, the premiere Romanian business event of the year, held in New York City at the initiative of the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce (RACC), the Bucharest Stock Exchange and ALIANTA.
The Forum aimed to outline Romania's robust and diligent economy, a country embarking on an age of renewed growth, increased stability and impressive credibility. Mindful of constant challenges and difficulties, it has now launched heartily into restructuring its economy and making strides across the board. It is this kind of commitment that will secure her role as a key EU player and an exceptional NATO partner for generations to come.
BestInvest Romania provided the audience with a unique blend of informational, marketing and networking opportunities. On the Romanian side, keynote speakers included Hon. Mihai Albulescu, Minister of Energy, Hon. Mircea Jorj, state secretary with the Ministry of Transportation, Hon. Gabriel Florin Puscau, secretary general with the Ministry of Health, H.E. Ion Jinga, Permanent Representative of Romania to the United Nations Organization, and Hon. Ioana Gabriela Costache, Consul General of Romania in New York. The United States government was represented at the event by Hon. Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (D - CA). The business community was represented, on the Romanian side, by Mihai Daraban, president of the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, and Ludwik Sobolewski, CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), as well as key members of the US business community.

La sfarsitul lunii septembrie, dl. Petru Schipor a participat la BestInvest Romania, cel mai mare eveniment de al anului pentru comunitatea romana de business din America, organizat in New York de Camera de Comert Romano-Americana (RACC) impreuna cu Bursa de Valori Bucuresti si ALIANTA.
Adunarea a avuit rolul de a evidentia economia solida si foarte activa a Romaniei, tara ce a intrat intr-o noua era de crestere, stabilitate si credibilitate. Atenta la provocarile pe care le intampina, Romania se dedica intens restructurarii economice si inregistreaza progrese solide in toate domeniile. Doar un astfel de angajament ii va asigura un rol strategic in Uniunea Europeana si un parteneriat de exceptie cu NATO pentru generatiile ce vor urma.
BestInvest Romania a oferit audientei un mix interesant de oportunitati de informare, marketing si networking. Partea romana a fost reprezentata de Mihai Albulescu, ministru al Energiei, Mircea Jorj, secretar de stat la Ministerul Transporturilor, Gabriel FLorin Puscau, secretar general la Ministerul Sanatatii, Ion Jinga, reprezentant permanent al Romaniei la Natiunile Unite, si Ioana Gabriela Costache, consul general al Romaniei la New York. Guvernul american a fost reprezentat de democrata Loretta Sanchez, membru al Congresului Statelor Unite. Printre reprezentantii mediului de afaceri s-au numarat, de partea romana, Mihai Daraban, presedintele Camerei de Comert si Industrie a Romaniei, Ludwik Sobolewski, presedintele Bursei de Valori Bucuresti, dar si membri marcanti ai comunitatii de afaceri din Statele Unite.
